I started as an oil painter.

I have since taken to working with wax. This type of art is called encaustic.

This piece of artwork was done simply with two colors of  wax, silver and gold. It is very striking and intense. I can create this in sizes from bookmark size to 11x14 matted to a 16x20 finished size.
